Dwight Smith, lecturer and professional artist is from Detroit, Michigan. Received a B.F.A and M.A. in painting from Wayne State University and an M.F.A. from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, Cambridge, MA. A painter, he has exhibited extensively throughout the country with exhibitions in Europe and Africa.
As an exhibition curator, he has developed over forty-five exhibitions, many of which have toured several countries and is the current director of the universities Rosenthal Art Gallery that exhibits local, national and international works of art.
